"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen." -Peter 4:10-11

Family and Friends,

We hope you are doing well! We miss you all! We apologize for it being several months since our last update. We have been navigating some exciting transitions in our lives. Here are the biggest.

Updates

1. We are a family of three now! We had mentioned in previous updates that we would be taking on a guardian role for two, teenage brothers starting in August. There were a few slight changes and our new role began at the end of June with only one of the boys. Luca, the oldest of the two brothers, has been such a joy to have in our lives. He just turned 17 and started his senior year in high school this week!

2. We moved to a new house! We will be house-sitting for another missionary family until June 2022. This has been such an amazing blessing for all of us. It is across the street from Luca’s school, closer to the offices we work at, and provides us with an amazing location to host people and events.
3. We started our new roles at church! One exciting update is that Eirenee’ has become our church’s Youth Ministry Director for middle and high school students! This position had been vacant for several months and was a large gap we were praying to fill. Eirenee’ already had a great relationship with several of our youth and felt called to step in. She began holding events this month and has done an amazing job shepherding our youth.

4. We started our new roles volunteering with the Free Burma Rangers! Our work is to support displaced people along the border and within Burma. Eirenee’ is developing a Sunday school curriculum for our team to use while at FBR training camps and Ross is the Medical Supply Coordinator. We are so thankful to be part of the FBR team!

PRAISES

-For Eirenee's position as Youth Ministry Director for Chiangmai Christian Fellowship.

-Both of our positions with Free Burma Rangers.

-Smooth transitions moving into a new house and moving in with Luca.

-Eirenee' is wrapping up hosting/co-leading an 11-week Women's Bible Study.

-Another opportunity to be apart of a Food Distribution for a local Burmese church.
PRAYERS

-Unity in Christ as a Family. We are navigating a couple of exciting firsts and ask for your prayer support - first time as a family of three and first time serving in multiple ministries together. We want to support one another the best we can and recognize the daily challenges to doing this!

-Wisdom and Creativity Navigating COVID Guidelines. COVID precautions remain a constant here. We are in our third series of restrictions that are preventing us from meeting on Sunday morning or in groups larger than 20. We have been hosting smaller events at our house but really hope the whole church can meet in person again soon!
How can we pray for you? Reply and let us know!

Thank you, thank you for your continued prayers and support as we continue on this journey! Your gracious giving enabled us to be 36% funded in July. We have been blessed to have several more people partner financially with us on a monthly basis. We now receive monthly support covering 23% of our budget. If you feel led to support us financially in any way you can see some specific ways by going to our website or clicking the link below.

Blessings,

Ross and Eirenee’
